british infantry pre-1815
have used figures from the HaT 8036 - British Light Infantry set in
stovepipe shako, which can be used directly as light infantry and also as
pre-1812 British Line Infantry by painting over in red or by eliminating (with a
cutter or knife) the wings of the jackets.
I have also used the wonderful and
currently unavailable Revell 02571 - British Infantry set (Belgian shako)
in order to use both types of units (a transition time!).
For the color schemes and regimental facings, I have followed:
Wellington's Infantry (1) (Men-at-Arms
114)
Wellington's Infantry (2) (Men-at-Arms
119)
The flags were downloaded from the
Warflag site.
