The 17th Division starts the fire on the village Prussian Fusiliers cleaning up the river bank (12.30 h) The French take the village ejecting the Prussian line (13.00 h)
but the Landwehr infantry retakes Nieder-Au French cavalry fails rout Landwehr cavalry)  and then falls on the Prussian flank (13.00 h
but the last Prussian square stops them and Nieder-Au is encircled by the French! (13.30 h) and is finally evacuated by the Prussians (15..00 h) The last remaining Prussians retiring into Goldberg (17.00 h)
 
The fight in the central bridge (10.30h - 17.30h)
Neapolitan cavalry is dispersed by cossacks (10.30 h) The 36th Division  is routed by the vigilant cossacks (12.30 h) The probing Italian cavalry is dispersed by the Russian hussars (13.00 h) A combined arms Russian attack stops again the 2B/36 (14.00 h)
but the jubilant hussars are rejected by the 1B/36 (14.00 h) which after recovering routs the Russian hussars (15.00 h) and forces first the withdrwal of the disordered Russian infantry (15.00 h) and then its dispersion 15.00 h)
The 1B/36th now disperse the Russian hussars (15.00 h) but the heroic French are at last dispersed by the cossacks (16.00 h) but the 31/XI Division also crosses and disperse the cossacks (16.00 h) remaining master of the bridge (17.30 h)
 
The combats for the Wolfsberg heights and the flanking attack (14.30h - 16.30h)
The 17th Division crossing undetected (11.00-12,30 h) Turtshaninov's  22th Division deploys on the Wolsberg heights (12,30 h) the 17th Division routing the Russian 2B/22th in two turns (13.30 h)
and the 19th Division also crosses the Katzbach (13.30 h) The 17th Division is at last ejected from the Wolfsnerg by the Russian Turtshaninov's  22th Division (14.30 h)
The 19th Division advancing through the woods (15.00 h) The 19th Division is stopped at the wood border by the Russian hussars whcih are finally dispersed (15.30 - 16.00 h)
After a fierce fight, the Russians take the Wolsberg heights (15.30 -16.00 h) Macdonald arrives! (17.00 h) The French right is stopped at the wood border (17.00 h)

The Yorck's Prussians arriving to battlefield (13.30 h) The Prussian Reserve Cavalry is rejected by the vigilant Chastel cavalry (15.00 h) Yorck retires his forces covered by the 1st Brigade and the Reserve Cavalry (17.00 -17.30 h)

Macdonald stops near the river and concedes the day. Bluecher retire unmolested but he must to leave the Katzbach river defensive line (18.00 h)
